Obama and the rest of his Progressive friends have labeled the Republican Party as the party of "no". How I wish that statement were accurate when it came to Obama's "fundamental changing of America" agenda.
Let's begin with no to; reconciliation, to takeover of health care; to socialism, fascism, communism, Marxism, illegal immigration, Cap and Trade, takeover of businesses, more spending, more taxes, globalization, thieves and tax cheats in the White House, and corruption in Congress.

Harry Reed stated we could start the celebration; 36,000 jobs lost in the latest dismal report from the Labor Dept. is good news. Reed, the sad sack, bitter, lost leader of the Senate, reminds one of a poor impression of Pat Paulsen. For the young who have no clue, he was a comedian who made a joke of running for President. Paulsen was harmless and somewhat amusing. Reed is dangerous and is a joke, but not funny.
He grumbles that people should be betting on the nation's success, not failure. Harry knows, of course, it is the Progressive, Liberal agenda of Obama and Congress people are hoping to see fail in a big way. It is he, Polosi, and Obama who are destroying our country and shredding our constitution. Obama met with selected Democrats to beg their support for his historic blunderbuss health care bill. He assured those fence sitters not to worry; this bill would just be a starting point. Once it passes they will go to work and make it into the largest piece of socialistic legislation this country has ever seen. He and his liberal-progressive conspirators are staking their entire political careers on this legislation. Obama feels he can recover before his election, but he is asking Democrats to sacrifice themselves to help him fulfill his legacy of transforming this country into his idea of a socialistic utopia.

Despite all the distractions after the stunning victory by Scott Brown, the health care fiasco is alive and well in the gigantic sausage grinder of Congress and Obama's Marxist regime. They are attempting to pull a photo opt coup by inviting Republicans to a meeting with Obama in an attempt to seize momentum. Obama will play to the cameras with all his guile, and the mainstream media will portray Republicans as obstructionists to his noble cause.
He will appeal for bi-partisanship. Liberal progressives have said we must begin with their massive job killing, freedom-quashing monstrosity penned in secret by dark of night. The same bill bought and paid for with bribes to politicians, using our money. Bi-partisanship means, sign on to our plan, then sit down and shut up. The rhetoric and media wars will become intense, and opponents will condemn the republicans as stooges of the rich and the insurance companies.
Our campaign to defeat this legislation is far from over.

White House Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs, showed himself to be the misinformed, partisan, petty, purveyor of propaganda that he is in his recent White House briefing by mocking and demeaning Sarah Palin for writing notes on her hand. This arrogance is coming from a man who cannot carry on an intelligent conversation or answer a question from the press without a pile of notes. His answers, broken by so many "uhs", "well, looks", and other nonsensical gibberish that he is virtually unintelligible, giving the impression to anyone listening to him that he does not have a clue as to what he is talking about. Plus, he is the spokesperson for a man who thinks there are 58 states unless he has a TelePrompTer. He needs that same TelePrompTer to give a presentation to a 6th grade class. Their arrogance is exceeded only by their incompetence.
One can understand why Sarah Palin would be the focus of these two. The elite liberals believe there are no intelligent conservatives. It galls them to no end when anyone outside of their circle gets any positive press, and it becomes their primary mission to discredit, dismiss and demean anyone they perceive is a threat.

Obama, speaking to donors and supporters asked fellow Democrats to have patience as he tries to deliver the "change" he promised. He defiantly proclaimed he is not going to give as inch on his agenda. This comes after chiding Republicans for not working with him. To him, that means to go along with his progressive and communistic programs and sit down and shut up.
He also crowed "I've helped guide the nation through the worst of an economic recession." He left out one minor detail; since his "stimulus" passed we have lost 3.5 million jobs. Every policy he advocates is the antithesis of robust job creation policies – low taxes and less regulation. He prefers to tour the country doling out more of our money to friends and supporters and promising billions of dollars in targeted areas to buy more support for his tax and spend, redistributing the wealth madness. Yet, with more arrogance that ever, he is proposing another stimulus package (renamed jobs bill) to buy even more support.

Canadian Provincial Premier, Danny Williams needs heart surgery. I would bet not a person in the world could guess where he is going to get his surgery. If you said Canada or even England, where they have the best socialized medicine in the world, you would be wrong. If you said in Cuba, China or any other communist country, that too, would be a great big nope.
If you guessed by now, he is coming to the United States where we have the best medical system, the best doctors, and the best equipment in the world, that makes you a winner because you live here. Obama and Congress have not been successful in changing our healthcare system into the disasters seen in other countries. Where are the Canadians, the Brits and all the rest going to go when we have the same system they have, or worse?
I have an idea. Let's impose a 40% tax on everyone coming to our country for medical services. That would be one way to reduce our costs. For everyone coming to this country for treatment, they are causing an American to wait in line behind them. If Canadians are unhappy with their medical system, they should be working for change. There can only be two reasons for Congress and Obama to demand their massive legislation be inflicted upon our citizenry - total power and money.
We cannot afford to let down our guard. They will piecemeal this legislation, but make no mistake they are not finished.

Obama and the Liberals in congress are hastily retooling and redefining their message to the American electorate following the Massachusetts Massacre. They will not, of course, change their left-wing, socialistic agenda; only the wordplay, phraseology and an increase in their shrillness will change. Their targets will remain the same; business, special interests, banks, Republicans and the old standby, the “rich”.
The only chance this country has of creating jobs is by doing the only thing government should be doing; creating a business friendly environment by cutting taxes, allowing easier accessibility to investment capitol and reducing regulations.
These will not be the instruments used by this President and Congress. They will instead, go back to their basic playbook of socialism 101 and firm up their targets, fabricate a message and formulate their talking points. Every successful dictatorial regime began with a powerful, charismatic speaker and disenchantment with a previous leader or administration. They add into the mix, some perceived social injustice and create a few hated iconic symbols then preach the hatred to the populace by cleverly making up lies and repeating them until most people are believers. The successful despots have always used government controlled media to disparage, demean and diminish the opposition and to make everyone believe you are “fighting” for them. The use of the word “people” was also very successfully used in past government takeovers...do the People's Republic of China, Cuba or Venezuela ring a bell?
If you listen to Obama's speech Wednesday night, pay attention to his appetizer of hyperbole served on an old plate with clever “buzz words”. The main course will be replete with references to his “inherited” problems, special interests, obstructionists, and business in general but with special prominence given to lending institutions and Wall Street. Dessert will consist of pie in the sky idealism covered generously with “fighting for the American people” and “social justice”; or code for redistribution of wealth and income.
Socialism makes all the promises of fine dining; sumptuous food, soft music, flowers and great atmosphere. It's enough to get the mouths of the ill-informed liberals to watering. The problems begin when we fail to notice there are no prices on the menu. They continue when we discover the meal is inedible and there's no service or atmosphere. The nightmare only begins when we are handed a huge bill.
Obama and Congress feel they must get the voter's attention away from Massachusetts and back on the liberal's promise of Utopia. But, problems abound when trying to walk the fine line progressive liberals must walk in trying to explain their policies. They have to explain how a complete takeover of healthcare that adds 30 million people would not create shortages, result in cost increases or cause a loss in personal freedom. And some golden oldie promises like massive spending programs with no tax increases; punishing job creators with crippling regulations and taxes and not expecting job loses overseas. But the toughest one to explain is the trillions spent to stimulate the economy and create jobs, resulting in a loss of 4 million jobs in one year.
His speech will pit class against class; tax breaks if you are member of a special class, tax increases if you are a member of his targeted “bad people” group. He will propose a small percentage cut in government spending as a token to show he is “fighting” for us. All of his proposals are laughable and do nothing to create jobs or reduce taxes.
What better timing could they have to fight back than a Constitutionally mandated speech and a captive audience. We must not allow them to take back the initiative. This could be a turning point in this most important year in the effort to regain control of America.
Everything they say and do is designed to further their cause; fundamentally change our country. Progressives desire to rule, not govern. There is one thing that will surely be flowing on Wednesday night; We'll be polite and call it rhetoric.

He was murdered June 1 in Little Rock in front of a recruiting office. He was killed on US soil, standing on a sidewalk, simply because he was wearing a uniform, by a Muslim extremist. Another soldier, Quinton Ezeagwula, was wounded and lived. The recruiting office was splayed with bullets with 15 members of the US military inside.

The voters of Cleveland Ohio were the latest to hear President Obama's newest buzzword. Today it was fight.
“I will fight for you”...over and over again. And as usual, he played the victim's role. Without someone to blame for his incompetence he must look inside of his leftist mind. It's much easier to create villains and strawmen; then point, demean and distract. Today it was his old standby, special interests and big business. He continued his piling-on of banks for the second straight day, and for the second day in a row the Market dropped like a rock. He either sees no correlation or he really doesn't care.
Banks are his favorite target and because some banks took taxpayer money in the big bailout they have made themselves a target. But Obama's rhetoric and desire to control the financial institutions are not confined to ones that received bailout money. He wishes to exert control over all of the financial institutions.
He was in Ohio to talk about jobs but has no plans for private sector jobs because he doesn't believe in the private sector. He is big government and therefore believes in the creation of public sector jobs programs. Jobs which historically have cost hundreds of thousands of dollars per job and are generally temporary in nature or result in an unfunded liability to the states or municipalities when the federal government decides to move on to the next "in tune" political program. He convenes job summits and invites labor union leaders, bureaucrats and politicians, the very people who helped send our jobs overseas and created the anti-business climate we have today.
Everything he says and everything he does is the antithesis to job creation which is why we have seen a massive increase in unemployment in his first year in office. Cutting taxes has always been the solution for creating private sector jobs, but Obama and his gang of socialists believe in high taxation, massive government spending and governmental control of all business. The mega billion dollar stimulus bill was marketed as a job saver and had to be passed immediately to keep the unemployment rate under 8%. It is now over 10% nationally and much higher in many states. Still, "His Arrogance" blames Bush, special interest groups, mean Republicans and everyone else that he can stain with an obstructionist label. Indeed, we would do well to recruit all of the obstructionists we can to resist and reject his socialist agenda.
As it has always been with every loser, he blames everyone else for his failures. Bush, Republicans, big business, doctors, big insurance, Tea baggers...it never ends. I hope he continues to blame the Patriot movement. It will only make us stronger.
Let us hope Obama continues the rants that he is "trying and fighting for the people" but everyone gets in his way. Praised be!!

Obama's reaction to the Massachusetts massacre would be amusing if not down-right ludicrous if one were to look at it through the eyes of a normal, common sense voter. But Obama is an ideologue and likes speaking to and reassuring his base. Normal voters or common Americans are big problems for the Administration and the left-wing of Congress. We stand between them and the power they so dearly crave and must be talked down to and dismissed as unimportant, ignorant, Tea-Baggers.
His statement as well as the one by Howard Dean illustrates just how out of touch the left wing is with American voters. They reflected that the election of Brown was a result of anger with George Bush and it was really good news for Democrats. Even the ultra-liberal, and Obama bed-mate, Chris Matthews called these assertions ridiculous. It would appear the talking-points, written election night through tear-filled eyes, came out as a jumbled mess.
Through all of their denials and excuses, however, it is imperative to understand these liberals are not finished with their agenda. They will make adjustments and continue the fight. They fully realize they are going to lose seats in the November elections, but their tyrannical cause is all consuming and that fact will make them fight even harder.
The Massachusetts vote is but one punch thrown and landed by freedom lovers. We will be playing defense for the rest of the year in an attempt to deflect each blow to liberty being thrown by our own government. However, we must continue to land punches and never give an inch. But most of all , always fight “one more round” than the despots.

Well, I can’t wait to hear Keith Olbermann when he calls the voters in ultra-liberal Massachusetts a bunch of “irresponsible, homophobic, racist, reactionary, tea-bagging supporters of violence against women and against politicians with whom they disagree.” Oh, and don’t forget their support of an “ex-nude model” as Olbermann put it. What a Guy! A guy who is losing any grip he may have had on reality.
Olbermann is just one of the typical, bitter, Obama socialists that permeates the mainstream left-wing media. It’s so crowded between the sheets in the Obama bed, there isn’t room for all the lobbyists.
The Scott Brown win was one of the biggest upsets in the history of American politics; certainly in a U.S. Senate race. He defied the odds, he overcame the media attacks, the backing of Obama and the sliming of liberal Democrats.
This was not just a victory for Scott Brown, is was a victory for the Patriot movement in this country. The Tea Parties, 9-12 Projects, Constitutionalists and all their fellow movers and shakers. They moved the political landscape and shook the liberal, left-wing of the Democratic party and pulled back the reins on Republicans who had been straying off course from the Constitution they took an oath to defend.
The year is just beginning and there is much to be done. November will be the final test. Make no mistake, the true ideologues will come out like wounded animals; biting, growling and snarling at everyone in their path. We must continue the hunt to the end! They must be finished off at the polls if we are to retain our Republic. I expect Obama to continue to blame Bush for the voters anger and the rest of the White House will pretend voters were not really talking to them. Pelosi and Reed will continue living in their little world. I wonder what color the sky is in their world...red?

Democrat Allan Mollohan, the ethically challenged U.S. Rep. from the First Congressional District of West Virginia, announced he will seek another chance at ignoring the people of his district and voting as Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reed instruct him to vote.
He was voted as one of the 15 most corrupt members of Congress. When his constituents go to his office to ask about Healthcare, he locks the door. He has been completely impervious to the wishes and opinions of the voters in his district of West Virginia and calls to his office are met with derision and contempt. Up until now he has had no challengers for the office. This time may be different. We need a mobilization of voters in his district to kick this crook out of the People's House.
Currently in this 14th term, the streak must end this November. He has shut out West Virginians and it is time to shut him out. Maybe there is hope for a “Scott Brown” moment in West Virginia.

It was Christmas eve when Congress decided to give Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac a final atta boy with $42 million in cash bonuses to the executives. They have done such a great job lending money to people unable to repay the loans and throwing the country into a spiraling depression. Members of Congress skulk, slither and slime their way through the once hallowed halls to do their evil deeds. I guess it is only fair, however, for them to protect Fannie and Freddie since it was Congress that insisted Fannie and Freddie loan this money to people who had no hope of making payments on their homes. They have not a clue as to the workings of the free enterprise system or they are trying to destroy the system itself and replace it with their socialist, communists systems. Thus far they are well on their way.
To make this all the more bazaar, congress also lifted the limits for funding of Fannie and Freddie. They now have unlimited taxpayer's money to pour down another rat hole. It's what happens when government takes charge.

This Congress and White House are approaching Third World status for corruption. No political scandal in the history of this nation can hold a candle to the bribery and down-right abuse of power occurring in Washington. Politics as usual is dead; just as Obama promised. This is politics with mind-numbing arrogance. We have never seen this level of taxpayer's money being stolen and given to House and Senate members to buy their votes in support of Obama-care. Special interest groups and Obama supporters have received special exemptions for taxes and special rules inserted into the legislation that do not apply equally to all Americans. Selected states and politicians get free rides at the expense of the American taxpayers.
Congress and Obama have an attitude of “victory over the American people” at any costs; and we are the ones paying the costs; in money and liberty.
This healthcare legislation, a monstrosity designed by politicians to completely control the citizenry, is unwanted by a majority of the American people, and has been a corrupting influence at every stage of its socialistic life. If the history books reflect accurately the total corruption of our system that we are witnessing now, they will conclude; "This, was our darkest hour."

I would be curious to know if anyone in this country could name a President of the United States who would have waited three days to address a terrorist attack on this country? Further, could you imagine a President finally admitting - after years of fighting an enemy - that we were at war, but adding that captured terrorists would be read their rights and given a civilian trial with all the rights of an American citizen; including a ban on interrogation! How many wars would we have won by following the moronic rules of this administration?
Obama is either the most naive President in our history or the most incompetent. He has no concept of establishing a sensible, rational, defense policy. He is placing the military, the intelligence agencies and the American people at risk with his far-left, apologist ideas. Listening to him expound with such arrogance about defense matters and America's place in the world is something worse that frightening.
Sen. Tom Harken (D-Iowa) threatened Joe Lieberman (I-Conn) with loss of his seat on any Democrat committee if he voted with Republicans to stall Obamacare. Harken also stated "We will build a starter home, not a mansion. We will build on it from here." Which explains the Democrats willingness to go along with other demands to strike the abortion provision, public option, early signup into Medicare and other items, so easily. They want to get the framework into place and add onto it later. The Dems consider this to be the perfect storm for the liberal-progressive cause. They have communists in the Whitehouse and the majority of the Senate and House to be, at the very least, sympathizers if not outright communists. This may be their only chance to fire every liberal program in their arsenal at the American people and into the heart of the Constitution. 12-17-09 The House, with 40 Dems joining the Republicans voted to stick the taxpayers with over 100 billion dollars more of pork and payoffs to states and their representatives. Again the code was "Jobs Bill", and was wrapped up in another neat bundle of waste. The jobs are almost exclusively jobs in the public sector, which will be another un-funded mandate for the states, local municipalities and school boards when the funding expires. It is designed to keep people on the public payroll and keep the votes coming in. The public works programs won't see fruition for years. These ideas are a rehash of programs started by the $787 billion debacle passed in February. Most Democrats cannot bring themselves to do anything to create private sector jobs. To do this would require tax cuts and incentives for individuals and businesses – a foreign concept to liberal progressives and socialists. House Minority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, hit the nail on the head, "Same lousy policies that haven't produced jobs all year". "Policies of mass destruction" would be a more applicable description of what these politicians are doing to this country. 12-7-09 Last year in Great Briton, the death rate from cancer was 38% higher than in the U.S. In Canada it was 16% higher. Two of the countries that are held up to be the paragons of socialized medicine are killing thousands of people in order to achieve equality of care. As I've often said, lowering everyone to the lowest common denominator is the specialty of government. Of course, we don't have to worry because Harry Reed stated that a proposed amendment offered by Senators Barbara Mikulski, D-Md and Olympia Snowe, RINO from Maine that would give the Health and Human Services secretary authority to require health plans to cover additional preventive services for women, would solve the problem. His idiotic statement was "That decision should not be made by some bureaucrat, a member of congress or someone they've never met." This would make it clear, "That the decision to have a mammogram should be left up to the patient and the doctor." What? I guess that would assume that your doctor is the Health and Human Services secretary – since he/she would decide if the additional coverage would be required. If this weren't so deadly serious it would be comical. The animals are running the zoo. 11-27-09 Keep an eye on Obama and the upcoming Copenhagen summit. Obama has indicated he may be willing to go further in the talks because of lagging U.S. legislation on climate control. He is obviously trying to put pressure on lawmakers to enact his Cap and Trade idiocy. The idea of the 192 countries is to dictate our country’s energy policy and distribute our wealth to other countries as part of the worldwide philosophy of “give us your money, you dirty capitalist pigs”, which fits in perfectly with Obama’s philosophy of “give us your money, you dirty capitalist pigs”. Don’t be tricked into believing a treaty wouldn't mean anything unless approved by the Senate. Obama can simply announce his administration will follow the protocol. This next year is going to be crucial in our country's energy policies and the cost we pay for all energy. Happy Thanksgiving! Be thankful we live in America. Be thankful we still have the power to control the people who try to control our lives. Never cede this power…USE IT! Let’s work together to get these anti-American liberal progressives out of office. Freedom is the most important One program the geniuses in Washington formulated earlier this year to stimulate the economy was a program to provide tax credits to individuals of $400 and $800 for couples. They were to be provided through increases in paychecks. This would result in a decrease in the amounts of federal income tax withheld. In addition, more that 50 million retirees received $250 checks as part of the stimulus. Now, it seems that the government made some mistakes in its calculations. The withholding tables used for the program are incorrect. More that 15 million taxpayers may owe more than they expected when they file their returns next year – many will be seniors on fixed incomes. The IRS is aware of the problem and has instituted no changes. This could also result in accruing penalties and interest if people have made more this year that expected due to withdrawal of 401K or IRA funds. This is still another example of government arrogance and incompetence coupled with an uncaring, detached attitude. This should give everyone a warm and fuzzy feeling about turning our health care over to government. Oops! 11-23-09 The House and Senate health care plans both require the states to cover a larger portion of their people under Medicaid. States will therefore be forced to raise their taxes to cover the un-funded mandates. Congress will hold themselves blameless for the increase in taxes at the state level – while they, in actuality, will be totally to blame. Just another “hidden” tax, just like dozens of other ones in these bills – that will increase the cost of medical care. I find the hubris of Pelosi and Reed astounding. They claim these bills will save money while spending trillions of dollars more. They claim these bills will save lives when they know very well there will be severe rationing in every venue of health care and will cost thousands of lives. The utter and total corruption of these two individuals and their cohorts is unseen in the history of our country. It’s bad enough having a corrupt administration in the White House, but having Reed and Pelosi in charge of the Congress may be more than this country can survive. 11-20-09 The Girl and the Rattlesnake A young girl was trudging along a mountain path, trying to reach her grandmother's house. It was bitter cold, and the wind cut like a knife. When she was within sight of her destination, she heard a rustle at her feet. Looking down, she saw a snake. Before she could move, the snake spoke to her. He said, “I am about to die. It is too cold for me up here, and I am freezing. There is no food in these mountains, and I am starving. Please put me under you coat and take me with you. “No,” replied the girl. “I know your kind. You are a rattlesnake. If I pick you up, you will bite me, and your bit is poisonous.” “No, no,” said the snake. “If you help me, you will be my best friend. I will treat you differently.” The little girl sat down on a rock for a moment to rest and think things over. Suddenly, she said, “I believe you. I will save you. The little girl reached over, put the snake gently under her coat and proceeded toward her grandmother's house. Within a moment, she felt a sharp pain in her side. The snake had bitten her. “How could you do this to me?” she cried. “You promised that you would not bite me, and I trusted you!” “You knew what I was when you picked me up,” hissed the snake as he slithered away. Remember, when politicians tell you to trust them, and they only have 11-19-09 It appears as though Harry Reed is maneuvering for THE big push in the Senate for his version of the healthcare bill. We must be ready for “anything goes” from here on out. The Dems are determined to ram a bill through. Trickery, chicanery, dirty tricks, lies and payoffs are only a few of the things Dirty Harry will be using to expedite this evil takeover of American lives. We must all call, write and E-mail our Senators. However, if you have friends in other parts of the country, ask them to contact their Senators and network with others to do the same. Saturday could be the beginning of an American disaster! 11-18-09 11-17-09 Social and Economic Justice are code words that liberals use when they are talking about redistribution of wealth and power from the producers and the savers to the centralized government and the non-producers. These are two of the vanguards of Obama’s “fundamental change” we heard from his lips before the election. They not only want these “changes” in our country, but throughout the entire world. Taking our wealth and ceding our sovereignty to dictators, fascists and thieves everywhere – this definitely sounds like change everyone can believe in. 11-16-09 11-15-09 Neither Obama nor anyone in the White House will use any words or phrases that aptly describes the Islamic terrorist attack on the unarmed soldiers at Fort Hood. Members of Congress are also strangely mute. They cannot admit that this is a terrorist attack on America by an Islamic Fascist. The U.S. House of Representatives went from the ridiculous to the ludicrous this week when a House subcommittee approved legislation aimed at forcing college football to switch to a playoff system to determine a national champion, over the objections of some lawmakers who suggested that perhaps Congress might, possible, have more pressing matters. Ya think!?? The bills sponsors were Rep. Joe Barton of Texas (R) and Rep. Bobby Rush of Illinois (D). One committee member Rep. John Bartow, D-Ga, maintained his sanity long enough to vote "no" in the voice vote. Thus, we get another glimpse into the small, petty minds of our elected officials. These Congressmen were appointed to the House Energy and Commerce Committee, subcommittee. I hope the citizen –taxpayers of their districts will appoint them to the unemployment office – where they are sure to be roundly applauded when they get in line, by all the people who were placed there by these morons and their co-morons.

Joseph Stubbs, president of the American College of Physicians -- the second-largest doctors' group in the country -- confirms that "the supply of doctors just won't be there" for the 30 million new patients President Barack Obama wants to cover. Noting that the doctor shortage is "already a catastrophic crisis," Stubbs noted that underserved areas in the U.S. currently need almost 17,000 new primary care physicians even before Obama's proposals are enacted.
In the meantime, according to Bloomberg News, a 2009 survey by Merritt Hawkins & Associates, a recruiting and research firm in Irving, Texas, found that "the average waiting time to see a family-medicine doctor in Boston...is 63 days, the most among the 15 cities" surveyed. By comparison, in Miami, it was only seven days. The study noted that Boston's longer wait was "driven in part by the healthcare reform initiative" passed in 2006 in Massachusetts, upon which the Obama program is modeled. Bloomberg reported that "as many as half of doctors in the state have closed their practices to new patients, forcing many of the newly insured to turn to emergency rooms for care."
Alan Goroll, a professor at Harvard Medical School, said that "the primary lesson of healthcare reform in Massachusetts is that you can't increase the number of insured unless you have a strong primary-care base in place to receive them. Without that foundation...Massachusetts has ended up with higher costs and people going to emergency rooms when they can't find a doctor."
Additionally, a study by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, part of the federal government's Health and Human Services Department, found that expanding insurance coverage to an estimated 32 million people who now lack it would create a demand for medical services that "could be difficult to meet initially...and could lead to price increases, cost-shifting and/or changes in providers' willingness to treat patients with low-reimbursement health coverage."
Indeed, the report found that the Medicare cuts contained in the House-passed bill are likely to "prove so costly to hospitals and nursing homes that they could stop taking Medicare altogether."
The dynamic of the healthcare debate is decidedly turning against the administration. As details of the doctor shortage, Medicare cuts, tax increases, penalties for no insurance, shallow subsidies and high costs for the uninsured all leak out, more and more Americans are developing qualms about the bill.
But within Congress, the momentum is the other way as the bill hurtles toward December passage in the Senate.
But then it will hit a wall as the chambers try to reconcile their different versions so as to satisfy the liberal House and Obama's base on the one hand and the most conservative among the 60 Democratic senators on the other. This debate will focus on such a broad range of issues and will be so contentious that it is going to take a long time to resolve.
Meanwhile, popular angst with the bill will continue to build and Election Day will approach. More and more members will be anxious about supporting the bill and both left and right will dig in their heels and resist compromise.
The healthcare bill may pass both houses, but may not be able to be enacted into law. The tide of public opinion cannot be resisted.

Do you see the conflicts of loyalty here? Do you notice the oath is very similar to the ones taken by all members of Congress, The President and Supreme Court? They obviously do not kill soldiers, but most have conflicts of loyalty. They are torn between lobbyists and taxpaying citizens.
If anyone who is not a left wing liberal can think of anything Obama and his minions have done to advance the cause of freedom for the American people, I would be interested to know what it is. If they have done anything to promote a good business climate in order to create good jobs, I would be interested to know what it is. If they have done anything to reduce the taxes of the people who produce the wealth and pay the way for the country, I’d like to know about those programs. If they have done anything to promote our country in a positive manner to the rest of the world…well, you get the picture.

The Obama administration is cueing up the next big war against the America people after Health Care and Cap and Trade. “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” which is code for legalizing illegal aliens. They are going after tens of millions of additional votes by adding to the already over burdened social programs and medical facilities. Janet Napolitano, Homeland Security secretary, made the – at best – dubious statement that the border is more secure now. Obama, to lead the efforts in overhauling immigration laws, has given her the job. Since several members of Congress have said they would support immigration reform when the border is secure, she merely proclaims it to be so. Critics like Rep. Lamar Smith of Texas, the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, which oversees immigration and border issues say it is not true. There are over 400 miles of open border and the parts of the fence that have been built are not built as the law required.
We who have not had the honor to serve our country in the Armed Forces stand today to salute the many who have served and sacrificed years of their lives, indeed many gave their lives so that we may have the freedoms we enjoy in this, the greatest country in all of the world.
Stand with me also, to resolve that we will not give away that which they have so valiantly defended. Our country is under siege by forces in our own government who are determined to “fundamentally change” everything that was handed to us by our forefathers in the Constitution. They are destroying the country defended so well by our finest young men and women who never asked why, they just did their duty.
Now, we must all rise and fight another enemy, the liberal-progressive U. S. Congress, the U .S. President and the U. S. Supreme Court. Conjunctively they are systematically eroding every principle this country was founded upon. Their numbers are small – less than 500. Our numbers are great and we have the power to stop this tyranny if we stand united and do OUR duty. We must fight fiercely, we must fight with determination, and we must fight with the guile and cunning possessed by our adversaries or we shall lose everything that has been given to us.
Tomorrow is the day for THE vote in the house on healthcare reform. Please make another last-ditch effort to halt this disaster waiting to happen, by calling or e-mailing your representatives. The quote of the week was from Congresswoman Virginia Foxx (R) from North Carolina, “We have more to fear from the potential of this bill passing, than from any terrorist in any country.” She should be on our list of people to work for in the next election.

New federal hate crimes legislation was signed into law. I can find nothing in the U. S. Constitution, which allows the federal government to look into the minds of people and make a determination as to the intent of a particular crime committed by one person upon another. All crimes, violent or non-violent should be prosecuted to the fullest. Special protection of any class or group in unconstitutional. Unless a victim has an infirmity, or is defenseless or impaired in some way, all crimes victims should be treated equally and crime perpetrators should be prosecuted equally. In any instance, there are state and local laws, which apply and should be enforced. No person, just because they belong to a certain group should receive special status from the federal government as a victim of a crime.

Government officials never miss a chance enacting laws to protect us from ourselves - or any number of imagined enemies. They have spent billions and mortgaged the future of our children and grandchildren in the stated objective of protecting us from terrorists. A noble cause, but government endeavors are never cost effective or efficient and seldom address the real threats in our lives.
During a typical ten-year period of time, the flu virus kills over 300,000 Americans. Yet, we trust foreign companies to control the manufacturing and distribution of much of the flu vaccine. As with any commodity, companies tend to restrict quantities in an effort to keep prices high. While these international companies play their “limited supply” games, congress has more urgent business…conjuring up more innovative pork barrel projects. After all, whoever heard of a vaccination program named for a senator or congressman? There would be no place to hang a plaque. Every year that we have these shortages of vaccine it is purported to be an anomaly. Despite political posturing, politicians are asleep at the wheel again. They are too busy trying to destroy a health care plan that over 80% of people in this country would like to keep.

Make no mistake, however, we will have a public option, government run health care system. It may be down the road but the political tide of the liberals will continue to pound away until enough resistance is worn away to get it passed.
They will work to eliminate any private insurance option by trying every dirty trick they know to sneak a precursor of a public option into a bill and disguise it by lying, lying, and lying again. Of course, the photogenic phonies of the liberal TV networks and the scandalous print rags will keep repeating the lies.

First Congressional District representative Alan Mollohan, the ethically challenged representative from West Virginia, voted to continue funding ACORN. He defended the vote saying it was just another attempt at "gotcha" politics by Republicans. Another example of the corrupt defending the corrupt. They're all one big happy family of thieves.
